Flame heats up with Rio sport doc series

Australia-based Flame Distribution will bring a 6x30mins doc series about Brazilian sport ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Rio.

Rio: City of Sport comes from Rampage Studios and explores the careers and passions of local sporting heroes. This comes ahead of the football World Cup next year and the 2016 Olympic Games, which is also in Rio.

Other new titles on the show include Haunting: Australia, an in-house production following ghost hunter Robb Demarest; Roller Derby Till I Die, a UK series from Rampage about the cult of roller derbies; and Inside Luxury Travel from Varun Sahrma.

Flame has offices in Sydney, London and Europe.
