Jaime King Summer Heights HighAustralian-born Lilley played the role in previous series We Can Be Heroes and Summer Heights High and will now reprise the part in Ja’ime: Private School Girl.

As with other Lilley shows, which also include 2011’s Angry Boys, ABC is the commissioning broadcaster. Lilley’s Princess Pictures is coproducing in association with the Aussie pubcaster and HBO, which broadcast both Heroes and Summer Heights High.

The 6x30mins show will follow King in he final year at fictional private school Hillford Girls Grammar School.

“Ja’mie King is easily one of the most cunning characters in a school uniform we’ve ever seen. I know viewers will enjoy keeping up with the high drama, high-pace life of a teenage girl going through the motions of finishing school,” said ABC1 channel controller Brendan Dahill.

Lilley added: “I find teenage girls endlessly funny, so being able to write for and play the meanest bitch in school has been so fun. I can’t wait to show everyone what Ja’mie’s been up to.”
