News brief: Red Arrow draws up House Rules

Red Arrow International has secured distribution rights to Australian reality series House Rules and will launch it at MIPCOM.

The show has been recommissioned for a second season on Seven Network in Australia. It sees couples allowing their homes to get a complete renovation from competitor couples, with the ultimate show winner getting their entire mortgage paid off.

The Seven Network Production show scored strong ratings in its primetime slot.

“Bringing a killer twist to the makeover genre and a win-win-situation for everyone involved, House Rules swept the nation,” said Red Arrow International’s Henrik Pabst, senior VP, format acquisitions.
