News brief: Sparks Networks adds German member

Germany’s DEF Media has become the latest prodco to join the Sparks Networks indie formats alliance.

Entertainment and factual-focused DEF is headed up by Jörg A. Hoppe, Christoph Post and Katrin Löschburg, who were previously the heads of MME Entertainment, Sparks’ former German member.

The Sparks Network model works as a loose collective that allows one indie per territory to join its ranks and gain strategic support, retain rights and maximise revenue.
