Zodiak inks big OTT kids content deal with MediaCorp

Zodiak Kids has completed a raft of sales of its shows across Asia including shopping hundreds of hours to Singapore’s MediaCorp for the kids section of its OTT and on-demand service Toggle.

MediaCorp, Singapore’s largest broadcaster, launched Toggle in February and has bought a 260-hour package of kids shows for Toggle Kids.

Titles covered by the deal include Totally Spies, Dani’s Castle, Dani’s House, Little Princess, Street Football, Gormiti and Monster Buster Club.

Zodiak Kids, the childrens programming arm of production and distribution group Zodiak Media, also announced several other deals with Asian broadcasters.

Turner’s Cartoon Network has acquired 52x11mins animated hit Horrid Henry, based on the eponymous publishing property, for its channels in territories including India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

The Discovery Kids channel has picked up the third 20x20mins series of arts and crafts show Mister Maker and will show it in India, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
