Russian remake for Spanish drama The Boat

Imagina International Sales has sold the format rights to hit Spanish drama The Boat (pictured) to Russian free-to-air broadcaster CTC.

Spanish producer Globomedia makes the show for Antena 3 in Spain and distributor Imagina has sold the finished version into over fifty territories.

It has inked a deal with U Channel, Yellow Black and White, and Mainstream Films, which will make the Russian version for CTC.

It will go out in November, replacing the local version of another Globomedia series The Boarding School.
