All3Media sells Rome and Ancient Egypt series around the world

All3Media’s sales arm has shopped Lion Television factual special Meet the Romans and Ancient Egypt: Life and Death in the Valley of the Kings to various international broadcasters.

Franco German cultural channel ARTE has picked up the Egypt series and Viasat has taken pan-Scandi and CEE rights to the 2x1hr show.

Meet the Romans, meanwhile, has been acquired by Canadian broadcasters TVO and Knowledge Network. Fox has also acquired it in Italy and Foxtel in Australia.

Historian Mary Beard delves deep into the heart of the society of classical Rome in Meet the Romans and Dr. Jo Fletcher, presents the Ancient Egypt show.
