CEE broadcasters buy up Nickelodeon kids series

Viacom International Media Networks has sold a raft of Nickelodeon preschool series to broadcasters in Central and Eastern Europe.

In the Czech Republic, free-to-air broadcaster TV Nova has acquired Penguins of Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda while CT, the Czech public broadcaster, has bought Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The second season of Turtles has been presold to Ukrainian pay TV channel QTV, which has also acquired Penguins of Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda, The Legend of Korra, Robot and Monster and T.U.F.F Puppy.

In Albania Digit Alb has bought series including Dora the Explorer, Victorious and iCarly.
