News Brief: Discovery to air Oklahoma storm tribute special

US cable net Discovery will show an enhanced version of its recent Mile Wide Tornado: Oklahoma Disaster doc with added footage featuring Tim Samaras, Carl Young and Paul Samaras, three of the storm chasers that lost their lives in the recent natural disaster.

The new version will include highlights from Discovery series Stormchasers.

Mile Wide Tornado: Stormchasers Tribute will go out on Discovery tomorrow (June 5) in a 10pm slot. It will have footage and special scenes featuring the three weather experts.

The new show will be made by Pioneer Productions. It made the original Mile Wide Tornado: Oklahoma Disaster. The UK factual producer has created over 50 hours of Tornado programming, making it an expert in the field.
