Canadian producer marblemedia has acquired the 50% of its sales venture Distribution360 it didn’t already own.
SEVEN24 execs and D360 co-founders Tom Cox and Jordy Randall will continue to act as strategic advisors to the business, with D360 handling worldwide sales on SEVEN24 shows such as Dark Horse, which is a live-action drama that is being developed with marblemedia.
D360 will also continue with international distribution of third party series such as Puppy SOS, Splatalot and Olive the Ostrich (pictured).
The news comes soon after D360 cut a deal to represent Canadian toon house Cuppa Coffee Studios’ (Celebrity Deathmatch) animated wares on the international market.
“We look forward to expanding our product offering and fully integrating our distribution arm under the marblemedia umbrella,” said Mark Bishop, co-CEO/executive producer, marblemedia and founding partner, D360. “With recent additions to our library such as Cuppa Coffee Studios, we remain committed to growing our library with like-minded third party producers to represent their content for international broadcast and digital platforms.”
marblemedia’s US director, acquisitions, Renae Garcia will handle D360’s US sales, with senior sales executive Kirsten Hurd overseeing international deals.
Founded in 2001, marblemedia is best known for series such as This is Daniels Cook, This is Emily Young and Skatoony.
