News brief: Rectify to return to global Sundance Channels

Sundance Channels across Europe and Asia have secured the 10x60mins second season of crime drama Rectify.

The show, which premiered on Sundance Channel in the US, is coming to Sundance’s global channels in territories including Turkey, France, Iberia, Benelux and CEE following a deal with distributor ITV Studios Global Entertainment.

The show follows a man recently released from jail, where he had spent 19 years on death row for a brutal murder, after DNA evidence proved his conviction to be inconclusive.
