Echo Bridge hires for digital drive

LA-based distributor Echo Bridge Entertainment has hired an experienced digital exec to lead its new media and digital efforts in Latin America and further afield.

Camilo Bernal becomes the firm’s first VP, new media, US Hispanic and international, where he will be responsible for all new media business development, strategy and management of Echo Bridge Digital Media’s initiatives in the US Hispanic market and worldwide. He will report directly to president of international distribution, Emilia Nuccio, and be based in Miami.

“This is an exciting time in the digital TV evolution and we are poised to be at the forefront with a robust and diverse content offering,” said Echo Bridge chairman and CEO Michael Rosenblatt.  “Camilo’s expertise in this field will continue to push Echo Bridge forward.”

Bernal was most recently with Cedal Entertainment Production as senior VP, global distribution and was responsible for the multi-platform expansion of Spanish-language social television network SOi TV throughout the US, Latin America and Canada. He has also held roles at Spanish Broadcasting System, Worldvibe Entertainment Group, Discovery Communications and NBCUniversal.

In further news, Nuccio has also promoted Vivian Reinoso to sales and marketing executive, US Hispanic and Latin America. Reinoso previously served as international sales coordinator, distribution, and will continue to report directly to Nuccio.
