truTV COO departs

Mark Juris has exited his role as US cable channel truTV’s executive VP and COO.

truTV parent Turner Entertainment Network’s president Steve Koonin made the announcement in an internal memo, in which he disclosed he was “evaluating truTV’s current and future leadership needs” to find a replacement.

Juris joined truTV in 2004 when it was known as Court TV and subsequently secured a series of promotions, the most recent being when he was handed the COO in 2011.

During his tenure, truTV has grown its audience share and launched reality shows such as Storage Hunters and Hardcore Pawn, which recently reached its hundredth episode.
