A+E Networks UK has appointed its first director of digital to bring its content to multiple devices.
Caroline Casey joins the A+E and BSkyB joint venture channel provider to create an integrated digital media strategy for its channels History, H2, Crime & Investigation and Bio. She will oversee content and product development across 34 websites, plus social media platforms and work on digital marketing and advertising.
She joins from her own digital strategy consultancy, CC Digital. Previously, she was at Turner Broadcasting System joint venture TurnOut Ventures.
In the new role, Casey reports into Anna Priest, A+E UK’s VP, marketing communication. “With the vast experience Caroline brings, I’m confident we can inspire audiences to engage with our content across multiple devices and drive significant growth in ratings and brand equity,” said Priest.
