News brief: French primetime format set for Euro remakes

Producers in the Netherlands and Denmark are optioning Can’t Stop Media’s French primetime format Angels of Reality.
Zodiak Netherlands and STV in Denmark have taken the show, which La Grosse Equipe produces for NRJ12 in France. Matthieu Porte’s Can’t Stop has worldwide rights.
The format, which sees local celebrities try to make it in the US while living a life of luxury, launched in 2010 and has reached 200 episodes. “This show is international at its core and the Danish and Dutch adaptations could be on air as early as next fall,” said Porte.
