MIPCube Content 360 finalists announced

The finalists in the Content360 competition being held at MIPCube next month have been announced with transmedia companies from Europe, Australia and Asia making the final cut.

Russia’s largest independent broadcaster CTC is launched a call for entries to the transmedia content competition in January.

In association with telco MTS and agency Ailove, is offering €5,000 (US$6,500) in development funding to the winner of the contest, which is being held at MIPCube, the digital content segment of the MIPTV market in Cannes.

The five selected finalists will pitch their ideas live, in Cannes next month. The five are: Era Film from Lithuania, Fourtwelve from Australia, Makropol from Denmark, Mayapuri Graphics Workstation from India and Ono Pictures from Germany.

The winning project will, if successfully developed, then be launched to 70 million Russian viewers.

The criteria for ideas was that they must work across TV, the internet and mobile devices.
