Shine America hires Belzberg for production role

Shine America has hired Leslie Belzberg as senior VP, scripted production and the veteran producer will oversee projects including The Bridge for FX.

Belzberg’s recent movie producing credits include Crazy Heart and at Shine she will oversee day-to-day scripted production.

One of the first projects she will work on will be the US remake of Scandi drama The Bridge, which will launch on cable network FX this summer.

Belzberg will report to Carolyn Bernstein, executive VP, scripted programming, Shine America.
