The CW calls time on 90210

The CW has cancelled 90210, the reboot of the youth-skewing 1990s series.

The show has run for five seasons on the US broadcast network.

Seven episodes are left of season five, after which the series will not return, The CW president, Mark Pedowitz said yesterday.

The series is produced by CBS Television Studios.

It is distributed by CBS Studios International, which has sold it to a raft of international broadcasters including ProSiebenSat.1 in Germany, Ten Network in Australia and Global in Canada.
