Hollywood actors Mark Strong and Lennie James will be at MIPTV to promote Low Winter Sun, the AMC- and Endemol-produced remake of the UK miniseries.
The pair will join showrunner Chris Mundy (Criminal Minds, Cold Case) in Cannes in April to promote the gritty drama, which is a coproduction between Endemol Studios and AMC Studios and is based on the Channel 4 show of the same name.
Strong is best known for films such as Zero Dark Thirty and Tinker, Tailor, Solder Spy, while James has featured in The Walking Dead, Hung and Jericho. They will hold a press conference on April 8, along with Mundy and Endemol Studio executives.
Endemol is also bringing its syndicated daytime talkshow Steve Harvey to the confab, with the show’s titular host also appearing.
