Al Jazeera Children’s Channel visits My Place

Al Jazeera Children’s Channel (JCC) has acquired Australian multicultural history series My Place.

The free-to-air preschool net has picked up global Arabic rights for seasons one and two of the Matchbox Pictures-produced show from its distributor, the Australian Children’s Television Foundation.

The show is based on a classic Australian picture book by Nadia Wheatley and Donna Rawlings, and depicts the history of one part of Sydney through the eyes of children who lived there, with each episode traveling a further 10 years back.
