Russia’s TNT buys Moonscoop’s Code Lyoko

Russian  free-to-air network TNT has acquired animated kids series Code Lyoko.

The Russian broadcaster has picked up the first two seasons of Code Lyoko and will strip the show through the week.

Moonscoop, which distributes the show, added that Code Lyoko toys will also launch in Russia for the first time following the TNT deal. Simba is the master toy partner and Icon Promotion the local L+M agent.

Moonscoop coproduces the series with France Televisions and Canal J. It launched on France Televisions in September 2003.

Moonscoop is currently producing Code Lyoko Evolution, the new season of the show combining 3D animation and live action, and airing on France 4.
