Zodiak poaches Vernière from France Télévisions

Zodiak Rights has hired Eric Vernière. He joins from France Télévisions Distribution where he was head of international presales and acquisitions.

At Zodiak, he will be in charge of securing presales, coproductions and pre-financing on new and upcoming productions from French factual production company Mona Lisa Productions.

Zodiak Rights own worldwide rights, excluding France, to the new series and specials from Mona Lisa.

It is looking for copro partners for a raft of upcoming Mona Lisa shows including Lengguru: The Lost World a 1x90mins special for ARTE following a major scientific expedition into the Lengguru mountains in New Guinea and 1x90mins Life On Us for ARTE and SBS Australia, which is a microscopic safari around the human body.
