Oprah’s Lance Armstrong interview becomes a two-night event

Oprah Winfrey’s interview with disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong will now be a two-night TV event.

The interview, was originally slated to be on Oprah’s US cable channel OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network tomorrow (Thursday) night on the Oprah’s Next Chapter show.

Expanded coverage will now run over Thursday and Friday nights.

Both parts of the interview will be streamed live on Oprah.com. The first intsalment  will be on various Discovery Channels in international territories.

OWN is a joint venture between Oprah’s Harpo and Discovery Communications. It is only distributed in North America.

Several media outlets are  citing unnamed source and reporting that Armstrong confesses to drug use during his cycling career in the interview.
