Documentary broadcaster Eden has revamped its website as it looks to increase distribution of its natural history and science programming.
This follows its parent company’s move to launch bespoke video-on-demand services for three of its channels; Dave, Yesterday and Really.
Eden’s new site, which includes photo galleries from the natural world and will include social quizzes and pop-up infographics, has been designed to make it feel like an app.
Oliver Davies, head of digital delivery at UKTV, a joint venture between BBC Worldwide and Scripps Network Interactive, said: “This represents the start of an exciting year-long project involving the complete redesign of our 10 channel websites and corporate site. We have launched Eden to look stunning, be easy to use, and social. The cutting-edge web design means the channel can live and breathe in a digital space.”
