BuzzTaxi closes post-MIPCOM deals

Canadian distributor BuzzTaxi has closed a raft of post-MIPCOM deals for its slate of factual series and documentaries.

Discovery has acquired The Real Jack The Ripper and Secrets of Christianity in Poland; Dutch broadcaster Out TV has picked up The Decorating Adventures of Ambrose Price and France’s Planete Justice has bought four hour Mob Stories.

In Russia, VideoFilm TV has acquired 6x1hour series Secrets of Christianity and Science of the Soul and The Exodus Decoded, which has also been picked up in Thailand by True Visions.

The company has also struck one of its most significant deals in the Middle East, selling Sanctuary: A New Life for Research Chimps to Iran’s Free TV.
