Echo Bridge sells SyFy movies to broadcasters around the world

Distributor Echo Bridge Entertainment has inked deals for SyFy original movies with a host of broadcasters Europe and Asia.

The distributor sells the US TV movies worldwide and has shopped titles including Ghost Shark to NBC Universal Networks, which has taken rights for its channels in 170 international territories.

In France AB Droits Audiovisuels has acquired a package of the movies as have Daro Film in Eastern Europe. Mediaset Spain has acquired Tornado Warning.

The TV movie deals came as the distributor announced a raft of new programming agreements.

Other highlights included Channel 4 in the UK picking up Martin Scorsese documentary A Letter to Elia, SVT in Sweden buying Pearl Jam Twenty and Singapore’s MediaCorp acquiring kids series Lunar Jim.
