Sky Deutschland launches budget package

German cable operator Sky Deutschland is launching a new budget package of channels.

‘Sky Starter’ will offer 21 channels to Sky’s customers in Germany and Austria from October 1.

Priced at €12.90, it will include Sky Sport News, Sky Krimi, 13th Street Universal, Discovery Channel, TNT Serie, Disney Channel and Spiegel Geschichte.

Marcello Maggioni, Sky Deutschland’s executive-vice president customer group, said: “With the Sky Starter package, we are offering an attractive entry into the exciting world of Sky for families and people that have not yet decided on pay TV.”
