Entertainment One to sell DreamWorks movies to TV

Canada-based producer and distributor Entertainment One will sell DreamWorks’ feature films to broadcasters in the UK and Benelux as part of an output deal with the US studio.

The four-year deal means that eOne will sell DreamWorks movies theatrically and to TV channels.

The first title covered by the agreement is the remake of Starbuck, starring Vince Vaughn and set for release in 2013.

Darren Throop, CEO, eOne said: “We’re thrilled to join forces with Steven Spielberg, Stacey Snider, Jeff Small and the entire team at DreamWorks. It’s a privilege to collaborate with innovative industry leaders in two of eOne’s core territories.”
