ZDFE picks up Nat Geo’s Rocket City Rednecks

International distributor ZDF Enterprises has taken global sales rights to Nat Geo factual series Rocket City Rednecks.

The show, which was produced inhouse by the company’s own production division, has already aired in the United States and will be launched for international broadcasters at MIPCOM.

ZDF Enterprises, the commercial arm of the German public broadcaster, is selling the show as either 20x30mins or 10x1hour. It follows a group of redneck geniuses in Huntsville, Alabama. The show centres around characters including Travis Taylor, who has a PhD in engineering and top secret clearance with the US government.
