Brazilian broadcaster GNT is to launch a local version of British lifestyle format Turn Back Your Clock after striking a deal with Sony Pictures Television.
The female skewing channel has commissioned Floresta, which is part owned by Sony Pictures Television, to produce 10 episodes of the health and wellness reality show. It will air in October.
The series was originally produced by Celador for Channel 4 and has also been remade in Poland with TVN and in Russia with MB Group.
“The universal theme of health and wellness in Turn Back Your Body Clock is something that everyone can relate to, especially in Brazil,” said Elisabetta Zenatti, general manager, Floresta. “The series will be adapted with the Brazilian audience in mind and we are confident our production expertise combined with the unique educational elements of this format will entertain audiences across the region.”
