MTV strikes Middle East and African deals

MTV’s international sales arm Viacom International Media Networks has closed a raft of programming deals across the Middle East and Africa.

The distributor has closed a four year block deal for a raft of Nickelodeon kids programming with pan regional broadcaster MBC3. The network has acquired three seasons of Jimmy Neutron, two seasons of Blues Room, the first season of Danny Phanton and various seasons of iCarly, All Grown Up, Dora The Explorer, Fanboy & Chum Chum, As Told By Ginger, T.U.F.F Puppy, Mighty B, Penguins of Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda, Fairly Odd Parents, SpongeBob Squarepants, Chalkzone, The X’s and Victorious.

Separately, VIMN has closed deals in Ghana with Viasat for Salt n’ Pepa, while South African public broadcaster has bought a package of shows including Teen Mom, If You Really Knew Me and 16 and Pregnant.
