Int’l nets strike Accused deals with All3Media

A raft of international broadcasters including German pay net Sky Deutschland has acquired the second season of All3Media’s drama Accused.

The new season of the Jimmy McGovern-penned 4x1hour drama will air on BBC One later this month. It has subsequently been acquired by pan regional Latin American broadcaster Pramer, Brazil’s Globosat, New Zealand’s TVNZ and Croatia’s TVO.

The crime drama has separately been picked up by US online video streaming service Netflix.

This comes after recently announced deals with Sweden’s SVT, Finland’s YLE, Iceland’s RUV, Slovack Televizia and BBC Global Channels in Poland.

The new series will star Sean Bean as transvestite Tracie as well as Shameless‘ Anne-Marie Duff and Sheridan Smith.
