Man V. Food Nation goes global

Adam Richman’s Man V. Food Nation is to launch around the world after Passion Distribution closed a raft of deals.

The show, which was produced by Sharp Entertainment for the Travel Channel in the US, has been sold to broadcasters including Nat Geo Adventure in Italy, Finland’s Nelonen, Spektrum in Hungary and RCI Rogers OLN in Canada.

The distributor has also inked a number of pan regional deals across Africa with Sony Max and Asia with Discovery’s TLC, which has also acquired it for Australia.

This means that the 25x30mins series has been sold in over 110 territories.

Man V. Food Nation is the fourth season of Richman’s Man V. Food format, which sees him travel to various cities around the US to try signature dishes. Whereas in the first three seasons of the show, the fourth season, which launched in June 2011, sees residents of the local cities to take on the challenge.
