UK public broadcaster the BBC has ordered two shows from Cineflix Productions, kids show Pet School and observational documentary series Claimers.
Claimers is a 10x30mins ob-doc about outrageous fake insurance claims and scams. The daytime show will air on BBC One.
Pet School is a ten-part kids series for BBC digital kids channel CBBC in which kids desperate to own pets face up to the daily reality of caring for an animal.
The half-hour show will be the centrepiece of a of CBBC campaign in the run up to the festive season on the theme of looking after pets and will link up with other kids and grown-up series including Blue Peter, Newsround and The One Show.
Camilla Lewis, Managing Director of Cineflix Productions is an exec producer on both series. Speaking about Pet School, she said: “CBBC have given us a fantastic opportunity to explore the perennial problem all parents and kids face about getting a pet: will kids really be ready to take on the full commitment of pet ownership or do they just like the fantasy?”
