France’s AB acquires Lilyhammer

French broadcaster AB Groupe has acquired SevenOne International’s mob drama Lilyhammer.

This comes after the series already aired on Netflix in the US, Canada and Latin America.

The international arm of the German broadcaster brokered the deal with the network, which operates 16 pay TV channels across France.

Lilyhammer, which is produced by Norwegian indie Rubicon and airs on NRK, stars Steve Van Zandt as a mobster sent to a remote part of the world.
