Turner heads to MIP with global series

Turner Content Solutions, the international sales arm of the Time Warner-owned broadcaster, heading to MIPTV with a global bag of drama series and documentaries from Turkey, Latin America, Asia and Scandinavia.

These series will sit alongside Turner’s hit kids series including new episodes of Ben 10, The Amazing World of Gumball and LazyTown.

The division, run by sales director Liisa Tikka, is distributing Turkish series Memoli, based on the hero from popular police drama Yikan Hikayesi, mob drama Valley of the Wolves and romantic drama I Met A Woman.

It is also selling documentaries from Asia including Tokyo Luxury Guide, AFI Masterclass: The Art of Collaboration, which looks at the relationship between Steven Spielberg and John Williams and docs from Latin America including Confessions of a Hit Man and Underworld.

Turner will also be distributing Mystery Night Movies, a collection of movie mystery thrillers from US cable network TNT.
