International broadcasters and producers have devised gameshows that take place in many weird and wonderful places, but Armoza Formats is launching the first one to take place in an airplane at altitude.
The Israeli formats company is launching The Sky Is The Limit at MIPTV, a gameshow that is hosted inside a plane. The winners win an all expenses-paid vacation at the final destination, while the losers fly straight back home without getting off the plane. The series was originally produced for Reshet’s Channel 2 in Israel.
The company has also developed its own gameshow format inhouse; it is distributing We Believe In You, a primetime studio show where a group of friends nominate one person to answer trivia questions on behalf of a shared dream.
These formats join Armoza’s existing slate including Still Standing, Upgrade and The Bubble as well as scripted formats including The Naked Truth, which is being reversioned by HBO in the US, and Danny Hollywood, which is being produced as a pilot for The CW.
