Nelvana heads to Trucktown

Canadian kids firm Nelvana is launching its latest animated series in Cannes later this week.

The company is launching CGI animated preschool series Trucktown at the market and hopes to attract the attention of international broadcasters.

The series, which features a group of trucks including Jack Truck, Dump Truck Dan, Gabriela Garbage Truck and others, is based on the book series by Jon Scieszka.

It is produced by Nelvana Studios.

The company will also be bringing new episodes of existing series including Detentionaire, Franklin and Friends, Mr. Young and Beyblade to MIPTV.
