Televisa, Univision to launch Lopez, Fuller talent show

Mexico’s Televisa and US Spanish language broadcaster Univision will launch Jennifer Lopez’s reality talent series after striking a deal with Endemol and Simon Fuller.

The pair, along with Colombian broadcaster Caracol TV, are the first broadcast partners for the ¡Q’Viva! The Chosen, which will feature Latin musicians and dancers.

Simon Fuller’s XIX Entertainment expects to announce 18 other broadcast partners across the region and the show is being filmed in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Endemol is distributing the series internationally.

“¡Q’Viva! The Chosen will be a spectacular showcase of Latin music and performance arts. We are bringing together the most powerful brands and networks throughout the Americas to broadcast ¡Q’Viva! The Chosen in a unique collaboration where each country will programme the show simultaneously,” said Fuller.
