Chapman co-founder Lynn leaves amid restructure

Greg Lynn is leaving kids producer Chapman Entertainment amid a wide-ranging restructure.

Co-founder and managing director Lynn will leave the company, which is best know for producing Roary The Racing Car and Fifi and the Flowertots, as it makes a “significant number of redundancies”.

Company co-founders Keith Chapman and Andrew Haydon will remain at the company, while Valerie Fry will become commercial director with responsibility for licensing and marketing.

“We are devastated to have to let go so many first class people who have contributed so much to our growth and success over the years. I can’t thank them enough for all they have done. But with soaring costs and challenging trading conditions, we’ve been forced to make these tough decisions,” said Chapman.

The company will continue to produce Little Charley Bear and Raa Raa The Noisy Lion for CBeebies to deliver later this year and in 2012.
