DSI launches first slate, eyes 250 hours

DSI, the international distribution company that was recently launched by Inverleigh Media Holdings, has announced its first slate of programmes and has told TBIvision that it is hoping to have 250 hours by the end of its first year.

The company, which is run by former Sportsbrand executives Peter Wraith and Matt Whytcross, has launched 14 television series including a number of sports titles and documentary series. Series include Sports Quest, Freewheel, sports comedy series Tour de Mayhem and 13-part doc series Destination Adventure.

Eight of its initial series have been produced by the company’s inhouse production company Intreprid Production, with the remaining titles being produced by third party producers.

Wraith, who is based in Australia, told TBIvision: “We’re probably looking at close to 250 hours of programming in the first twelve months.”
