US cable network Lifetime has struck a development deal with Hollywood actress Demi Moore that will include scripted series and a new talk show.
The network, which is operated by AETN, has ordered eight episodes of The Conversation, the first series under the deal, a female skewing talk show fronted by British It girl and photographer Amanda de Cadanet. The series, which will be produced by Moore and de Cadenet as well as Iconoclasts-producer Andrew Fried, is based on her web series.
Moore is also developing two scripted dramas for Lifetime that she will executive produce.
“I’m thrilled to have Lifetime as a partner in this endeavour as well as my other two projects in developments,” said Moore.
The announcement was made by Nancy Dubuc, president and general manager of Lifetime Networks.
