CITV buys Hawaii Five-O producer’s animated series
UK kids channel CITV has picked up Kung Fu Dino Posse, the animated series created by Hawaii Five-O executive producer Peter Lenkov. The broadcaster has acquired the 40x30mins series and will air it this autumn.
Lenkov, a writer/producer on numerous hit US scripted series including CSI: NY, 24 and now Hawaii Five-O, created the series, which follows four dinosaurs Kane, Chow, Jet and Lucy who have been frozen since the ice age and wake up in a modern-day city.
The show is a Korea-Germany-Canada-Singapore co-production between Sunwoo Korea, Optix Entertainment, Cookie Jar Entertainment, and Sunwoo Singapore.
