Cineflix strikes German deals

Cineflix International has struck a deal with German distributor ZDF Enterprises that will see it co-distribute 100 hours of content across German-speaking Europe.

The commercial arm of the German public broadcaster struck the deal with Cineflix International Distribution for shows including Mayday, Austin Stevens Adventures, Human Prey, Paradise Lost and Cooler Facts.

This comes as Cineflix has closed a number of other German deals. It has sold two seasons of Border Security, the 43x30mins crime series produced by Australia’s Seven Network, to Discovery Networks Deutschland’s DMAX.

Meanwhile, RTL has acquired 8x1hour Nazi Hunters and Zero Hour, ProSiebenSat.1-owned news and current affairs channel N24 has picked up port documentary Industrious and Tele 5 has bought crime series Cold Blood.
