FremantleMedia Enterprises has hired former ITV Studios exec Emmanuelle Namiech to become senior VP, content and development, EMEA and Asia Pacific.
Namiech, who was previously director of content acquisition at ITV Global Entertainment, will perform a similar role at the RTL-owned distributor. She will be in charge of developing and acquiring content from producers and rights owners as well as responsible for managing its relationships with companies that it already has first look and development deals with.
Namiech left the the international production and distribution arm of the British commercial broadcaster in December with Richard Life becoming head of coproductions and acquisitions.
She will report to FremantleMedia Enterprises chief executive David Ellender and will work alongside Jeff Tahler, senior VP, acquisitions and development, Americas.
