Croatia’s Nova strikes Warner Bros deal

Croatian broadcaster Nova TV has struck a volume programming deal with Hollywood studio Warner Bros.

The network, which is owned by Central European Media Enterprises (CME), has inked the deal with the studio’s international sales arm Warner Bros International Television Distribution, which will give viewers access to series including sci fi thriller V, Kevin Williamson-penned The Vampire Diaries and comic book adaptation Human Target.

The channel will also air forthcoming series including teen drama Pretty Little Liars and cop drama Rizzoli & Isles.

This comes after the distributor’s parent company Time Warner acquired a 31% stake in CME for US$241.5 million last year.
