ITN Productions has won an order from LIVING. It will supply an entertainment news show for LIVING and associated short form content for LIV under the Celebs 24/7 banner.
As well as providing video content for UK cable channel LIVING’s video player, LIV, on rolling basis, ITN will program a weekly entertainment news programming that will go out on Saturday mornings.
“There will be a daily online element and a weekly show,” Mark Browning, commercial director of ITN Productions, told TBIvision. “We will also work with Virgin on the onward syndication of the content.”
Mark Sammon, head of commissioning at Virgin Media Television said: “The weird world of celebrity remains the single biggest draw for Liv’s audience, and I’m delighted that we can now bring that content into the LIVING schedule too.”
LIVING is part of the Virgin Media TV bouquet of pay TV channels in the UK. There is widespread speculation that News Corp-backed pay TV operator BSkyB is about to buy the channels.
