UK indie producer and distributor RDF has launched a new digital and commercial division, Contact. It will act as a point of entry for brands and agencies that want to work with the company and will develop original intellectual property as well creating content for RDF’s existing shows.
RDF is already working with car manufacturer Renault and said it is already working with an unnamed brand on a new social network that will launch soon.
“The landscape is changing rapidly and we must adapt in order to remain competitive and relevant,” said RDF CEO David Frank. “The Renault project, for example, is a very exciting initiative for us. Shortly we’ll be announcing details of other deals with new partners on a number of different platforms.”
The new unit will be headed by Cathy Rogers and Tim Breadin.
