Network Seven is launching a medical sports docudrama series exec produced by Hollywood star Russell Crowe.
The broadcaster is launching Damage Control, a series that follows medical teams as they fight to keep the country’s top sports stars fit.
Gladiator-star Crowe will exec produce and present the series that will go behind the scenes of Australia’s most brutal sports stars including Australian Rules stars. Crowe is the majority own of National Rugby League team South Sydney Rabbitohs.
The series is being produced by South Sydney Media and Beyond International, which is also expected to distribute internationally, and will air early next year.
