BBC Worldwide cuts US Xbox deal

BBC Worldwide has cut a content deal with Microsoft in the US and will make a range of its content available on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace, online service.

Titles available include Top Gear, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Little Britain, Robin Hood and Primeval, all of which are already carried on BBC America, BBCWW’s US cable channel.

“We’re thrilled to be adding a partner like BBC Worldwide to both Zune and Xbox LIVE – bringing people quality programming like Top Gear that appeals to our passionate gaming audience,” says Christina DeRosa, Xbox LIVE general manager.
